The Late Set is a weekly conversation show hosted by Sable and Lux. Every Thursday one guest sits in the chair for an hour, picks what we talk about, and nothing gets cut to make anyone look better. It started with one microphone at a kitchen table, and it is still the conversation this industry usually only has after hours.

How the Show Started
It Started as a Voice Note
Sable and Lux had been sending each other hour long voice notes about the week for a year before anyone suggested recording one. The first episode was the two of them at a kitchen table with one microphone. The table is gone; the format is not.
The Guest Chair
By the tenth episode a guest sat in. Creators, photographers, the people who run the rooms nobody sees. The rule from the start: the guest picks what they talk about, and nothing is cut to make anyone look better.
Video Came Later
The show was audio only for the first season. The camera arrived when listeners kept asking what the desk looked like. Every episode now goes out as video and audio on the same day, and the desk is exactly as untidy as they imagined.
